Apparently, the power hungry drake wishes to control Unbendable and everything within, tampering with the flow of time once again.

(If accepted, he'd like to claim one of the unclaimed lands in the Radiant Quarter...I'll put it's description/name here too, just to keep it all together. Please forgive me if putting this here is wrong.
The Prince's Desert
A large, barren, hot land with shifting golden sand that somehow withstands the pounding of horsehooves. In the centre there is a large oasis surrounded by sweet, bright green grasses and tall, thickly branched trees. Around three sides of it, there is a tall, jagged rock wall, in which there are caves with small springs, used by mothers with young foals or colts.)
What a strange pair. « Result #3 on Sept 15, 2007, 1:34pm »
name // Dancing Mist "Misty" foal's name // Cloud breed // Paint age // Seven (Please note for all my characters, if a unit of age is not given, it's years.) foal's age // Two weeks sex // Mare foal's sex // Stallion color // Mostly white, blotches of black. Blue eyes foal's color // Mostly white, blotches of dark mahogany red. Blue eyes. mane // mostly cream, black at base. foal's mane // Black. tail // Dark Mahogany red. foal's tail // Black alliance // Neutral picture // example post // Cloud stumbled over to his mother and nuzzled her underbelly until he could latch on to a teat, once again forcing them to stop on their quest to find a new home after the fire that had torn through their old forest. Misty sighed and nuzzled Cloud's side lightly."Come now, dear....not now....wait a little longer, I can smell our kind close by...." Cloud looked up and licked a bit of milk from his muzzle."But mama....I'm tired and hungry....can't we wait until morning to find them?"Misty sighed and simply turned her attention to grazing, sighing once more as she felt her son latch back on. She would have never left their home with him so young, but after the fire, she had no choice....and their poor situation showed in him. His pelt was shabby, his bones showed, and he was almost always tired. Slowing their pace and taking frequent breaks helped but, Misty new they needed a place to settle down, and soon, or Cloud wouldn't survive.

name // Nightmare breed // Quarter Horse age // Three sex// Mare color // Black mane // Black tail // Black alliance // Light, Pure hearted picture // example post // The black mare stood alone in the shadowy underbrush, blending in almost perfectly. Her sides shook lightly with each panted breath as she watched the fox that had been chasing her earlier. The fox tipped his head up and sniffed, unknowing that the mare was just downwind from him, then took off with a snarl. After a while the mare emerged and stomped her hoof on the ground angrily, staring across the river she and the fox had crossed at the bloody and bony remains of her foal being munched on by the very fox. It had been the fourth foal she had lost to foxes, and she swore it would be the last....and with that, she left in search of a new land, unknowing that she was soon in Unbendable.

name // Dorrontu breed // Quarter Horse age // Five sex// Stallion color // Dark cream with blue eyes. Long black socks. Frosted black nose. mane // Black tail // Black alliance // Good, pure hearted picture // example post // The Stallion's sharp hooves churned up the dusty ground beneath him as he raced forward, able to outrun his former herd as a colt, the stallion was now the fastest horse on the desert. His long mane flew out behind him easily, flapping with pride mirrored by his raised tail. He stands a whopping 18.9 hands, and usually holds his head up as high as he can, making himself seem even taller. With a snort, he slowed to a stop by the only oasis in the desert, bending his head down and gulping up water quickly, before flopping down in the shade of a nearby tree, the sweet, bright green grass encircling the large oasis tickling his underbelly as the warm desert zephyrs swept all around.

She's down in the dirt she's says, This Doesnt Hurt
the dark dementress trespassed onto the land. her pelt glistening into the moonlight night. her heart frozen and cold. her eyes glazed over, no emotion left to shine from them. the mare had been alone for what seemed like ages now. though only seen four seasons, the mares mind and body had filled out to make her seem the ripe age of seven. when she would be in her prime sexual age. the physique of misfortune drifted in and out of the shadows, her heart longing to be touched and warm, to be unfrozen....yet her mind keeping her secluded. A loud, deep nicker emitted the velveteen kissers as she picked up an elegant two beat across the midnight lit field. Her limbs stretching and receeding with perfect precision. Her pelt gleamed with pride and arrogance. She paused in mid action, her dial her high reaching the full heightof 16.2. Her pelt quivered as a single rain drop found its way onto her broad back and audits swiveled as the thunder rang off in the distance. A storm was approaching.

It seemed as if all the inhabitant of Unbendable had fled, he had not seen anyone for a long time. This had been his home since the very beginning, but never had the lands seemed so sparse. Trouble wasn’t quite sure what he expected to find here, certainly not a mare. When was the last time he had seen a fellow equine? A long time ago, he couldn’t even recall the last horse he’d encountered. And what of his father? There had been rumors of his return, but the buckskin had yet to lay eyes upon him. Had he returned that would have to mean he had risen from the dead; the damn Celtic Wolf had slaughtered him in cold blood. The titan snorted and tossed his noble head, still pissed about the loss of his sire. Drifter had been a grand leader, loved by almost all who met him. To be killed in his prime was such a shame, not to mention heartbreak for many. And then his lovely Ferne, taken from him too. But none of that mattered now because there was nothing left to be taken from the stud, except his lands which he did not prize that much anyways.
What was that? Trouble’s harks immediately perked up and he looked about eagerly, hoping he’d heard right. It did not take long until his optics spotted her. A bright smile crossed his kissers, oh how he had longed for the company of another. His gait was fluid and his strides long, hooves seeming to skim above the earth. It seemed an eternity since he had last smelt the fresh scent of another. As he headed toward the vix his eyes continually studied her, drinking in the sight. Her pelt was a similar shade to his, but her mane was flaxen instead of onyx. Her form seemed to have no faults, god she was gorgeous. It would be his luck to find out she was a dark, but he prayed she was not. Halting in front of her he spared no time in dipping his cranium and boa in a sweeping bow. When his apex was raised he smiled a charming smile to her, eyes lingering on her bodice. ’lo there fae, I am Drifter. Who might you be and how did you come to find this place?

This time we're not giving up. We're gonna make it last forever, screamin' Hallelujah.
I eyed my shadow. The fire-ball above me cast down light, and I found you could tell how far into the day it was by the void beside me. I glared for one moment longer, then raised my azure pools, jerking my dial high. A little after midday.
Some times, I just wish I had a place to go home to. But then the freedom of not being attatched to anything flooded over me, reminding me it was good to be a loner. To breath in fresh air, flirt, see the world, flirt, and meet both darks and lights, and flirt. A smirk appeared fleetingly on my kissers. Oh, how I loved to flirt. It was addictive, and I was addicted. I know that if I became part of a herd, the King would want me to be dedicated to him. Quite frankly, I don't like that idea.
Even as these thoughts raced through my mind, my ebonite talons tore at the earth as my pillars carried me forward. Even in the sixth year of my life, I was still running. Stride after stride, beat after beat, the landscape flew by me at a steady pace. To tell the truth, I have no idea where I’m going, or even where I am. As if it matters to me. All I care about is getting away from where I was.
Sunlight spilled over my hide, enhancing my lovely golden coat. My muzzle is splattered with black, and flowing flaxen tasseles billow in the wind.
I brought myself to a halt. Why? No clue. I sucked in air until my rib cage threatened to break, then snorted loudly. After swinging my skull around in a large arch, I figured out where I was.
The Claiming Grounds.
Good going, Halle. You just walked into a trap. Surely someone's going to come by, say hello, then force you to come to their herd.
Well, maybe it won't be bad. It will just be different. And different doesn't mean bad, it just means something you aren't used to. And variety is always a good thing. Come on, Halle. Give it a try.

Large pillars carried the heavy hessian into the moor of a darkened sky. Nostrils flared, the scent of a light came into distance. For whom may dare enter thy lands? Cranium thrashed high as the stud went into a 3-beat. Whipcord lashed, Lights thinks they have dignity? Think again.
Drums stopped at the sight of Stachion, his new colt. Why are you here? For where has your mother gone? his lyrics hissed. He didn't have time for dealing with protecting a foal now, other dark gypsies were closing in, he didn't need another to protect.
